FAQ

Wedding Planner or Day-of Coordinator:  Which One Is Right for Us?

A Wedding Planner works with you from the very beginning, helping you choose the venue, find the right vendors, design the style, and create a realistic budget and timeline. They guide you through every step of the planning process and make sure no detail is missed.

A Day-of Coordinator joins the process closer to your wedding  usually 1–2 months before the big day. Their job is to organize and manage everything you’ve already planned, communicate with your vendors, and ensure that everything runs smoothly, so you can simply relax and enjoy your celebration.

How Far in Advance Should We Book Our Wedding Date?

The ideal time to start planning your wedding is around 20 months before the big day.

If you’re dreaming of a popular location such as a villa, museum, or historic estate  it’s best to start even earlier to secure your perfect venue.

Ideally, you should reach out to a wedding planner 20–24 months in advance to discuss potential dates and create a clear planning strategy.

If you begin planning 6–12 months ahead, you’ll still have plenty of time to make it all happen  just keep in mind that your options for venues and vendors might be a bit more limited.

The shortest planning timeline I’ve ever worked with was just 6 weeks  and it was still perfect. Nothing is impossible with love and a good plan.

Will You Work With the Vendors We’ve Already Chosen?

Every wedding planner has a list of trusted vendors professionals whose work has been tested over time and whose quality and reliability we know for sure. Collaborating with them helps make the planning process smooth and stress-free.

That said, I’m always happy to work with the vendors you’ve already selected. My goal is to create a cohesive, friendly team where everyone shares the same vision — to make your wedding day absolutely perfect.

How Many Meetings or Calls Will We Have During the Planning Process?

It depends on the format of your wedding and the level of service you choose.
But rest assured  there will be as many meetings and calls as needed to make sure I fully understand every detail and you feel confident and stress-free throughout the process.

My goal is to keep the planning smooth and enjoyable, so you can simply look forward to your big day.

If We’re Having an Intimate Wedding, Do We Still Need a Planner or Coordinator?

Yes, even a small wedding requires careful attention to detail and good organization.
In my experience, I’ve planned weddings for 350 guests  and even for just 11  and each one needed thoughtful preparation to make sure everything went perfectly.

Do You Help Us Distribute the Budget Across Different Categories?

Absolutely. This is one of the key responsibilities of a wedding planner  to make sure you stay within your budget while still achieving the best possible result.

I help you allocate funds wisely across all categories: venue, décor, photography, florals, and other services  so that every detail has purpose and reflects your priorities.
